Having worked for over thirty years supporting individuals with disabilities in a wide variety of community settings, it is my pleasure to be part of the DACS faculty. My goal as an instructor is to support our students, so upon graduation they have the knowledge and skills to support individuals with disabilities to pursueÌý self-determined lives within an inclusive community.

Aaron Johannes, Ph.D., has focused on interdisciplinary methods in equity studies, education, community development, leadership, communications and arts based inclusive research.ÌýAs a Taos scholar he is affiliated with a group of about 200 people around the world focused on social constructionist theories and practices.ÌýAs well as being an instructor in the Disability and Community Studies faculty, he is currently the Coordinator and an instructor in the CFCS Aboriginal Stream, and runs a small consulting practice www.imagineacircle.com.ÌýA grateful long term visitor on QayQayt and Kwikwetlem territory, his great-Grandmother was Cree and part of the Garden River Metis Settlement.
