Future education and career pathways
Upon successful completion of the Education Assistance and Inclusion (EAI) Certificate, you have the opportunity to seamlessly transfer your credits to the second year of our Classroom and Community Support (CCS) Diploma. This program enhances your expertise in inclusive support in schools and community, transitions to adulthood, and supported employment practices. The Classroom and Community Support (CCS) Diploma provides a pathway to further academic pursuits, with credits smoothly transitioning into the third year of our Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care degree, through a diploma credit block transfer.
In addition to the Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care, other programs are eligible for credit block transfer for you to continue your studies.
This program serves as an ideal foundation for individuals aspiring to become elementary school teachers, offering a strategic starting point for those embarking on their teaching careers.
Receive Transfer Credits
You may also receive transfer credit and/or prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR), if you have a minimum of two years of previous related classroom or work experience in the field.
Graduates of Child and Youth Care, Early Childhood Education, or Inclusive Education Assistant programs from one of BC's public post-secondary institutions can receive transfer credit.
Graduates of our Diploma program can block transfer into the 3rd year of a number of degree programs at different institutions.
