The technology services available are provided by the Centre for Educational and Information Technology (CEIT) department, staffed by a team of skilled professionals, most with computer technology backgrounds. Here is a summary of the services CEIT provides:

Logins & Passwords

Learn how to access myAccount, Douglas network, Blackboard, Wi-Fi, U-Pass BC on Compass Card, Citrix and MediaSite. You will also find out how to register additional email addresses, a cellphone number or the Google Authenticator app to receive verification codes — remember to check the password requirements.

Computer Labs

To log in to any computers, use your College Network Access (CNA) credentials. Also, remember that your files are automatically deleted from the hard drive when you log off, so always save them to OneDrive in Microsoft 365.

Software

Learn about the software available to registered students, including Microsoft 365, which gives you free access to Office applications in the Canadian cloud. Included in this service is one terabyte of OneDrive storage space — it is enough to store an essay of 85 million pages or 300,000 photos.
